The Georgia Figure Skating Club is a member club of US Figure Skating. We have skating members throughout the Southeast, and even some in other countries. 

If you are a current member, you will be contacted at time of renewal with the current renewal fees.

Our membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. This is the same as US Figure Skating.  You must be a member of US Figure Skating to test or compete.

Membership in the Georgia Figure Skating Club includes:

• Membership in US Figure Skating, which includes:

• Individually numbered membership card
• Subscription to Skating Magazine, and access to the Skating Magazine archive.
• Sport Accident Insurance & Liability Insurance
• Certificates of accomplishment for passing proficiency tests and placing at U.S. Figure Skating qualifying events (athletes)

• Ability to compete in USFS Sanctioned events:

  Peach Open, Peach Classic, Atlanta Open, Magnolia Open, South Atlantic Regionals, Adult Nationals, National Showcase, etc.

• Ability to test USFS tests (Moves in the Field, Freeskate, Pairs, Dance and Solo Dance)  
• Club Ice (for skating members)
• Parties - both at the rink and outside the rink
• Annual Banquet - usually held in February.
• Reimbursement of some of the cost of Club Jackets. (This reimbursement requires volunteer hours.)
• Reimbursement of some competition fees at qualifying/national competitions. (This reimbursement requires volunteer hours and an agreement to renew with the club the following competition year.) This year's Form
• Reimbursement of the cost of the USFS Gold Medalist Jacket after completing the 2nd "Gold" test - as a member of the Georgia Figure Skating Club.

Volunteer Opportunities:

The Georgia Figure Skating Club uses SignUp Genius to allow members to sign up for volunteer opportunites.  We will email everyone before test sessions, competitions, etc with a link to sign up.

Registration/Renewal:

The club is now using an online Membership system for registration and renewals.  You can access or create an account here:

You can use any credit or debit card to pay for you membership.

US Figure Skating Members Only site:  

The US Figure Skating Members Only site is used to sign up for Regionals, Adult Nationals, and other competitions.  

You can also view your test dates and results for regional, sectional and national competitions.  

Letter of Good Standing:

When you renew online with the Membership system, you should receive a Letter of Good Standing.  You can also obtain a new one from the the online system.

Rules:

Rules for using Club Ice and general etiquette for using Private Ice. Please read and follow these guidelines. It will make Club Ice and Private Ice much safer and more productive.
